You can start by contacting the court. I've posted the link below. Bankruptcy filings are down 70%-80% in San Diego County since the reform laws went into effect. I don't have current statistic, but there were less that 1800 total bankruptcies filed in San Diego by the middle of July.

The link for the San Diego Bankruptcy Court does not have statistics on their website - I'm not sure what statistics the other poster was referring to. Some courts keep track of statistics while others choose not to publish them for whatever reason. The Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB), the official body that oversees Personal Insolvency in Scotland including Trust Deeds and Sequestration have released details of the number of individuals utilising personal insolvency debt clearing options.
The number of individuals using Protected Trust Deeds has fallen, compared to the same period of last year. In January, February and March this year, a total of 1,575 Protected Trust Deed applications were made, compared to 2,033 of Jan â" March of 2010. There were 2,090 Protected Trust Deeds in the period of Oct â" Dec 2010. This represents a 25% drop in the previous three months and a 23% drop from the previous year.
The Accountant in Bankruptcy has also released statistics on the volume of Sequestrations and Debt Arrangement Scheme which have grown in popularity as more individuals become aware of these options to clear personal debt in Scotland.
Changes at the tail-end of last year included the new option of a Certificate for Sequestration which has helped people who were previously ineligible for either a Trust Deed or a (Low Income Low Asset) LILA Sequestration.In the period of Jan â" March 2011, the number of recorded awards of the Certificate for Sequestration was 555 whilst granted Debt Arrangement Scheme stood at 478, a 9% increase from the prior quarter and a 15% increase from the same period of last year.
